Peri Peri was first established many years ago in the year 1987. The peri peri flavour was inspired by Fernando Duarte who then invited his friend Robbie Brozin to a Portuguese eatery in South Africa. Once they had tasted the most mouth-watering chicken they knew it had to be shared with the world. Peri peri was discovered by two Portuguese explorers in Mozambique, Africa and the Portuguese called it pili pili, which means pepper pepper in Swahili. The exquisite sauce still influences people around the world to try it, and that is the reason why we are here today. We look forward to welcoming our visitors.
